What is the rental rate?

The rental rate is $350 for 3 hours. Each additional hour is $100. Extended bookings (>10 hours) and multi-day rental specials are available!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards and debit cards via online payment methods. We can accept cash or a check in specific, prearranged situations.

How do I secure my event date?

You can book us by visiting our website and clicking the "Book Now" button or contacting us directly via phone or email. If your date/time is available, we will then forward you an invoice for payment. We require a 50% deposit to secure your event booking. Once payment is received, your event date will be secured. The remaining 50% balance is due within 7 days of your event.

Do you deliver the mobile arcade to any location?

Yes, we deliver the trailer anywhere in Lexington, KY and surrounding areas. For locations outside of Lexington-Fayette County, additional fees may apply.

How much space is needed for the Hoop Lexington trailer?

The space required will depend on the venue layout. We recommend an area that can comfortably accommodate the trailer and allow for safe game play. The trailer is 10’ tall, 8.5’ wide and 18’ long.

What is included in the basic rental package?

The basic rental package includes our custom-built mobile arcade featuring four professional-grade digital basketball games. The Hoop trailer has the optional features of a Bluetooth connected sound system (you provide the music if staffing your own event), LED party lights and a fog machine. Event staffing is NOT included in the rental price but, if available, staffing can be provided at an additional cost. Hoop staffing may be required for certain events and at the discretion of Hoop Lexington.

What do I expect the day of my Hoop Lexington rental?

We typically arrive at your event at least 15 minutes early to get set up. Our staff will go over the game and the trailer features and answer any questions you may have. Then we leave the event and come back at the end of your party. The games and trailer typically are easy to manage so we are confident everything will be just fine. However, Hoop staffing is available for an additional fee (if available).

How does the Hoop trailer work?

Our trailer has the option to be powered by a standard 110v electrical outlet (our cord is 20ft long, you will need an extension cord for further distances) or by a low-noise gas generator. Once the Hoop doors open and the trailer is powered on - the fun begins! Just press the flashing green button to start a shooting round. No tokens required.

How does scoring work?

Each push of the green button gives the player 1 or 2 shooting rounds - the number of rounds depends on their performance in round 1.

Push the green button and the timer will count down - 3, 2, 1…. the first round begins and is 45 seconds long. Each successful basket is worth 2 points until the last 20 seconds of that round, then each basket is worth 3 points. If the player scores 31+ points in round 1, then you make it to round 2.

For round 2, the timer will count down - 3, 2, 1… and the second round begins. You do not push the green button for this round to begin. In round 2, the rim moves left and right over 30 seconds total. Again, each basket is worth 2 points and then the last 15 seconds of that round baskets are worth 3 points.

After round 2, the game is over and players switch.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits are non-refundable, however in certain instances they may be forwarded to an alternate event date.

• 14+ days before event – deposit will be credited towards a future booking (valid for 1 year)

• Less than 7 days before event – forfeit deposit

What happens in case of bad weather?

Hoop will be there rain or shine! If it does rain, the raised Hoop doors can help to shield guests from getting wet! We will do our best to accommodate finding an alternate date when possible though.

Are there any rules when using the Hoop Lexington trailer?

• NO FOOD OR DRINKS!! Please respect the trailer and do not allow food or drink within the shooting area.

• NO climbing in/on the trailer or hanging on trailer doors!

• Please keep the basketballs within the games and avoid hitting the lighting or any other features.

• Ultimately, we take great pride in keeping Hoop Lexington clean and fully functional. Please return the trailer in the same shape you received it!

What happens if something gets damaged?

You are responsible for reimbursing any lost basketballs and/or damages, theft or vandalism to the Hoop Lexington trailer and equipment caused by negligence or misuse during the rental period. Repair and replacement costs will be billed to the customer.

Does Hoop Lexington carry insurance?

Yes, we can provide you with a Certificate of Liability Insurance.

Is there an age limit for playing the arcade games?

Our arcade games are suitable for all ages, but we recommend adult supervision for younger children to ensure safety. We feel 8 years of age and older is the sweet spot.

Can Hoop Lexington be set up indoors?

Yes, our mobile arcade trailer can be set up both indoors and outdoors, provided there is enough space and access for the trailer.

What if I need additional hours beyond the initial booking?

3 hours is our minimum. Additional hours can be added for $100 per hour. It's best to arrange this in advance, but we may be able to accommodate last-minute extensions depending on availability.
